Are You Updated… Yet?
Case Stevens over at Affordable Internet Marketing Blog gave the heads up on 2 time saving wordpress plugins.
If your like me, getting behind on updating to the latest Wordpress or plugin version it not a top priority. It’s tedious and can be a real pain.
Especially the plugin updates… it’s easy to overlook those them. A lot of times I’ll find myself 2 or 3 versions behind before I’ll update them. And that could lead to problems because some plugins will behave strangely if they are not updated regularly.
I’ll usually get Wordpress updated, but not after putting it off for days. The last couple updates had patches that fixed security issues.
The last thing you want is to have your blog hacked by scurvy naves… Not good!
The first plugin will update Wordpress automatically. You don’t have to lift a finger… it does all the heavy lifting for you. All you do it click update, and it takes care of the rest. Then when the update is done, it congratulates you for a successful update… after all you did press one button!
The second plugin is called PlugInstaller WP. It is a Wordpress plugin management plugin that automatically checks for updates & installs them from the Admin panel. No more downloading the updates & uploading them into Wordpress.
Both make maintenance quick and easy. They get two thumbs up from me.
